Good360 – Making a Difference

So many children in care or crisis go without basics such as toothbrushes and toothpaste. Some have never owned a toothbrush before. This donation makes a huge difference in helping provide these children with essential oral hygience products most of us take for granted.

Lego helps with school refusal

John* to his TA ‘ I wanted to come to school today so we could finish the car lego’ said with a big smile. First time in a long time John* been happy to come to school.

A little bit of LEGO magic

A while back we received a shipment of LEGO sets from Good360, and I wish you could have seen the kids’ faces when we unpacked them. For many of the families in our community, buying toys—especially something like LEGO—is just not possible right now. So when the children realised these sets were *for them*, the excitement was incredible. Kids who usually hang back were suddenly sitting on the floor together, opening boxes, sorting pieces, and proudly showing off the things they built. One mum told us, “I’ve never seen my son so focused and happy. He hasn’t put it down since he got it.” Another parent said it was the first brand-new toy their child had ever owned. The LEGO didn’t just give the kids something fun to do. It gave them confidence, creativity, and a sense of being cared for. It brought families together and brought a lot of joy into homes that really needed it. A huge thank you to Good360 for making this possible. Your support made a real difference—more than you probably realise—and we’re so grateful.

Thankyou From Riverview

keeping our kids clean and relaxed with GRO-TO

“The Gro-To products have been a massive hit with our foster carers, they just can’t get enough of them. Particularly the bad dream buster which really helps the kids in foster care settle and relax”

Thanks for the helping hand!!

* WOW! thanks so much. What a great idea to give hand sanitiser away for everyone! * Are you sure it’s ok to take some for free? Thanks so much!

Impact story of John

“When life becomes a daily struggle, even small acts of kindness can mean everything. The donations I received through Home Beyond Home and Good360 reminded me that I still matter. I felt seen, supported, and not forgotten.” — John, community recipient

Back to School Back Packs

“I just wanted to send a huge thank you for the back-to-school backpack my daughter, Maya*, received. Honestly, it’s a massive help. Getting all the supplies at once is always a financial stressor this time of year, and the quality of the backpack and the supplies inside is fantastic. I was surprised by the products that are in the backpack, the headlice treatment will be so handy and helpful as we always seem to struggle with them. She was so excited about the new colored pencils! It truly makes a difference, and we really appreciate the community’s support in making sure she starts the year ready to learn.”

An early Christmas for animals and children

Our animal rescue recently received a generous donation of dog toys, cat toys, bin bags, and Chux wipes. These items were distributed across our incredible foster network, ensuring that animals in care had toys to play with and enrichment to brighten their days. The toys have been a huge hit, bringing joy, stimulation and comfort to pets waiting for their forever homes. The cleaning supplies were also appreciated by foster carers, helping them manage the inevitable mess that comes with caring for animals. This thoughtful donation has made a real difference in supporting both our foster families and the animals they nurture.

Joy of a Gift

Kim* was overwhelmed with joy to see the excitement on the face of the child receiving a gift from Lego which was proudly donated, while their parent was receiving one of our community food hampers,

100% Attendance Club

“This is an amazing concept. It has really inspired our son to attend school more regularly”

“As a disabled person, this gift made me feel proud – physically and mentally.”

“I’ve only had one pair of sneakers—held together by five layers of super glue. These new shoes gave me more than comfort. They gave me self-esteem.” “I stared at them for two weeks like they were in a shrine. When I finally wore them into the city, I treated myself to a haircut and beard trim. I felt confident. I felt proud. I haven’t felt that in many moons. “I’m deeply grateful. As a disabled person, this gift made me feel proud – physically and mentally.” All quotes are from David, a Stepping Stone Clubhouse member who lives with mental ill-health and chronic pain.

The small things can mean so much

“Sometimes the simple things are so important to have, but cost so much to buy” said Danny* who looks after 6 children on his own on a pension subsidy.

Luxury gifts

One of our clients, Sarah*, has struggled through domestic violence and is trying her best to single-parent her 10-year-old daughter, whilst working full time and budgeting her money to pay for increasing housing costs and food. She was so grateful to be given this hand cream as it’s a luxury item that she currently can’t afford. These opportunities give our community a sense of dignity to be thought of as worthy of a gift of something special, and it reinforces to them that we value them as a person and we care about them.

Extra Sporty Support

We’ve been able to give a family of disadvantaged kids some shoes where they were otherwise unable to afford shoes at all. They’ve been so overwhelmed by the gift of something that is so necessary for normal life but so unavailable to them on a day to day basis. We’ve also been able to support indigenous soccer teams with some of the soccer boots that came in that has helped families who have so little money to spare for specific sports shoes that they have been grateful for the help. The kids have been able to play as part of the team wearing the same kind of gear and it makes them feel so much more normal when some of the other areas of their lives feel so not normal.

The prettiest accessories

“They’re so pretty!” said Lilly, who loves to dress up as a princess but mum can never afford the accessories.
