This amazing find on Good360 supported so many in our School & Community. Firstly, Our disadvantaged women residents of the Liverpool Community. On Mothers Day the Community Hub hosted a Mothers Day Luncheon where we gave all our community members who attended a bottle or 2 of Hand sanitizer as we chanted “tis the season to be sneezy, here’s to term 2 & 3 being germ free”. In return the community donated women hygiene products. With our delivery of make up essentials from Good360 and other community donations we created Women self care packs that we paid it forward to Liverpool Neighbourhood Connections Women’s program, and Local women’s shelter. 25 packs were created. 160 bottles of Sanitizers have been donated to the community.
Second going with Hand Sanitizer find/Donation we created our chant “tis the season to be sneezy, here’s to term 2 & 3 being germ free”. Every classroom/room/program, hub participant, hub partner, parents and guest have ALL received a number of bottles to keep them “Germ Free for Term 3”. Another amazing addition. The whole community have been extremely grateful. Then Thirdly, Our amazing volunteers. We are privileged to have the most amazing parent volunteers in the world. To keep them warm, to make it easier to identify them, connect them as a amazing crew and say thank you we made them all Breakfast Crew jumpers for the winter. Finding this great purchase on Good360 made it affordable to make for our volunteers.
We are also making jumpers for our Adult women’s Swim group we are running during the winter in partnership with Liverpool City Council, Michael Wenden Aquatic Leisure Centre & Royal Life Saving.
