UCSA partnered with other local agencies to host the Tiny Tots and Mini NAIDOC balls for children aged from birth to 12 years. These special events are a highlight on the yearly calendar for many families and have become a much-loved local tradition.

To help make the balls affordable and inclusive, services collected donated formal wear, shoes and clothing throughout the previous 12 months. These donations were then used to create a free pop-up formal wear shop for families. The pop-up shop gave children the chance to choose something special to wear and attend the balls feeling proud, confident and included.

The Good360 donation of girls’ formal shoes was especially helpful, as they gave children a beautiful finishing touch for their outfits without families needing to purchase new shoes. By removing the financial pressure of buying formal clothes, shoes and accessories, the initiative helped ensure that every child had the opportunity to shine and celebrate NAIDOC with their community.
