Doin It For Rural Aussie Kids are extremely grateful for the connections that we have built with schools all over Australia. Working alongside some of the most disadvantaged schools has been so rewarding for us and we sincerely hope has provided hundreds of children with a safe and quiet place where they can sit and gather their thoughts. We are delighted to have heard of the Lego Clubs that have been developed within schools with children being given the opportunity to shine in areas outside the normal excellence of classrooms and sports ovals.

Our KISS Program has blossomed to include working alongside health professionals in 10 facilities. This program has grown and developed over the past couple of years and through the nomination process they are able to identify and assist the families most at risk of not celebrating Christmas due to financial strain. For many of the families that our health professionals assist the cost of Christmas is not viable and seen as a luxury. Many rural families need to travel for medical assistance which comes with separation, fuel and accommodation costs. The joy our health professionals experience in seeing the kids faces light up with receiving Lego is genuinely the best feeling in the world.

Through Christmas Toys for Rural Girls and Boys we are able to assist rural families anywhere in rural Australia and is a simple nomination. These nominations come in from family members, neighbours, community centres etc and we are thrilled to be able to speak with the nominated families and provide incredible personalised Santa Sacks and every child loves Lego and is our number one requested toy.
