The donated shampoo and conditioner were distributed directly to community members seeking emergency relief and to individuals and families experiencing hardship who lacked access to essential toiletries. These items were provided through our organisation’s emergency support program and community outreach services. The goods were given out during emergency relief appointments, where clients approached us for immediate support due to financial stress, housing instability, or personal crisis. Recipients included families with young children, individuals experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity, people living with disability, and community members facing domestic or financial hardship. Personal care items such as shampoo, conditioner and cream are often overlooked but are essential for health, dignity, and wellbeing. Many recipients expressed gratitude, sharing that being able to access basic toiletries relieved some of the stress they were experiencing and helped them feel cared for and supported during a difficult time.
