The donated items were distributed to women and families accessing Liverpool Women’s Health Centre services across South Western Sydney. This included women experiencing domestic and family violence, financial hardship, housing instability, social isolation and mental health challenges. Self-care and hygiene products such as mouthwash, skincare and hand creams were included in wellbeing support packs and shared through counselling, casework and community support programs. Clothing items and jogger sets were provided to women in need of practical, everyday essentials, particularly those rebuilding after crises or experiencing financial difficulties. Health-related support items, including adult protective underwear, were discreetly distributed to women who required additional personal care support. Bobby pins and other everyday essentials were also shared with women attending community groups and wellbeing activities. The donated items were provided with care and sensitivity to ensure women felt respected, supported and empowered while accessing our services.
