We are just so grateful and thankful for BIGW we would be seriously lost without it the local store program. We have so many situations of homelessness, and domestic violence. So many living in cars and with no fixed address. 2025 Christmas was one of the worst we have seen for homelessness, and the need was so great.

We have been able to give clothing, Christmas items, so many amazing gifts for all ages.

One young man who only had a cardboard box, a chair and a bed in his flat (he had just been housed from homelessness). He so touched our heart and he was overwhelmed to receive presents, Christmas decorations (all he had was a candy cane hanging in his kitchen).

We are so thankful, and when someone comes in need, we can say yes, we can help. They are so thrilled that the clothes are new. One single mum, doing it really tough, was struggling emotionally and we gave her some clothes. Her face lit up and she instantly wanted to try them on. She was so happy to have something new to put on, and both of her children also received new clothes and underwear. Thank you falls short of the value of all that we receive to give away, as the impact you cannot measure, the sense of being loved and that someone cares, changes lives, thank you!
