Taree Flood Relief

Jane Davis, President of the Manning River Agricultural & Horticultural Society Taree was very appreciative of the donations and support they received after the devastating floods on the North Coast in May this year. She says, “The generosity and kindness shown have truly touched our hearts and provided us with the much-needed resources to begin the process of rebuilding and recovery. Your kindness and generosity have made a significant difference in our ability to overcome this adversity, and we will always remember your kindness.”

Tell us how and to whom you distributed the goods in your community

In the aftermath of the devastating floods in Taree in May 2025, the RAS Foundation partnered with Good360 to deliver urgently needed relief to the community. The distribution effort centred around Taree Showground, which serves as an essential hub for local events and services. Some of the goods were also distributed to local families and individuals who lost everything in the floods. Some goods were sent to the showground’s caretakers’ cottage

Tell us how these goods helped your community, program or organisation

Thanks to our longstanding partnership with Good360, the RAS Foundation was able to deliver critical and timely support to the Taree community following the floods in May 2025. Essential items such as mattresses, furniture, and outdoor gear were delivered to Taree Showground to help rebuild the office and kitchen. A portion of these goods was also allocated to the caretaker’s cottage, which had suffered extensive damage, to make it a safe and functional living space. Through Good360, we were able to source furnishings, mattresses, and camping equipment from generous donors like King Living, Domayne, and Adventure Outdoor. We are so grateful to these donors for their generosity.
We would like to once again thank Good360 for their support and for helping us source essential furnishings, mattresses and camping equipment that helped the Taree community rebuild and recover from the devastating floods in May.
